There is no interview in IBPS Clerk exam. The selection process comprises two stages-prelims and Mains. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the Mains exam are not counted for final selection. Allotment of candidates in the participating banks is done based on merit-cum-preference. The process of conducting interviews in Clerical level jobs was discontinued in 2015. The list of participating banks is given below:

    • Bank of Baroda
    • Canara Bank
    • Indian Overseas Bank
    • UCO Bank
    • Bank of India
    • Central Bank of India
    • Punjab National Ba

Yes, without interview no one can get job. The procedure for becoming clerk through IBPS is that first you have to give prelims. There will be 100Q then mains 200Q and then interview.

No since CWE 2015 IBPS has halted interview for Clerk post. Although IBPS reserves rights to Re-introduce interviews or additional tiers in any exam. As per my knowledge CWE VI will not have interview for clerical cadre.
