No, there is no interview in SSC CHSL exam. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in:
Tier 1 exam
Tier 2 exam
Document Verification
Skill Test
The final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments/ Offices is made based on their performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam and the preference of Posts/ Departments given by them at the time of Document Verification.
