The number of attempts to pass the NEET MDS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery) is unlimited, according to the most recent norms. As long as they fulfil the requirements each time they apply, candidates are free to take the exam as many times as they like. A valid Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and successful completion of a one-year required rotating internship are among these requirements. It is important for candidates to stay informed about any changes to the eligibility requirements and the number of attempts by frequently checking official notices from the National Board of Examinations

Yes, as per the official guidelines, candidates belonging to the General/OBC category have three attempts up to the age of 25 years while SC/ST category candidates are allowed three attempts up to the age of 30 years. Hence, candidates must note the NEET MDS eligibility criteria first, before applying for the exam.
