    No, there is currently no limit on the number of attempts you can take the NEET UG exam irrespective of your category. Hence, this applies to all categories of candidates (general, OBC, SC, ST, etc.).

    In 2017, there was a cap of three attempts for NEET UG, but this was overruled by the Supreme Court later that year.Since then, the number of attempts has been unrestricted.

    According to current data, there is no limit on the number of NEET exam attempts that can be made. As long as they meet the NEET eligibility requirements in 2024, candidates are allowed to retake the exam as many times as they choose. The number of attempts for general, OBC, and SC/ST candidates is not restricted in any way. Candidates have a greater selection of questions to answer on the NEET 2024 test pattern. Applicants are required to attempt ten of the fifteen questions in the second section.     No. According to the regulatory body, there’s no cap on the number of attempts for NEET but there’s an age limit. Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2024. Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored a minimum of 50 per cent in the qualifying examination.
