Is there any major difference between IT and CSE on perspective of jobs offered?

CSE is preferred more than IT be it in admissions or placements. There is not much difference between the two. -
Not much difference. Some companies do prefer CSE over IT but there are very less cases for such scenario. I have seen only one such case during my placements that company was asking specifically for CSE than IT.
