  • No, dear there is no negative marking in LPUNEST.  LPUNEST is a fully MCQ test. LPUNEST is neither too simple nor too challenging. If you work hard and have a thorough understanding of the concepts covered in the LPUNEST, you will be able to crack the exam with a good score. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student.

Unlike other entrance exams, LPU NEST does not have negative marking. Consequently, candidates are not penalised for incorrect answers, resulting in a more favourable environment that encourages them to attempt questions without the fear of losing marks. This approach allows candidates to maximise their chances of scoring well by making guesses or eliminating unlikely options.

You will get two chances to qualify test . If somehow you will not able to appear in first attempt then in second chance you can apply and qualify it by getting maximum scholarship in course fees. The fees and scholarship varies from one course to another.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A

It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
