  • Yes, the UPSSSC VDO exam follows a negative marking scheme. The commission make panalty of 0.5 marks for the incorrect answers. However, there is no negative marking for the unanswered questions. The candidates taking the exam are advised to mark the answers carefully and while preparation they should focus on accuracy or they will lose their marks. The candidates should keep following things while taking the UP VDO exam:

    • Only mark the answer which you're sure
    • Double check the options while marking the answer in the OMR sheet 
    • Mark the options clean
