Lovely Professional University, the largest of the private universities in India has one single holistic campus with no other campus in any part of India or abroad. However, there are admission offices in various parts of the country but no academic activity takes place there. The campus houses 30000 students studying over 300 programmes by a team of over 6000 faculty and non teaching staff. The 600+ Acre campus is equipped with all advanced facilities and infrastructures (Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts with International cuisines, Hostel Facility, etc. ) One thing worth mentioning here is when the campus first came in existence, people were in awe as to whether such facility can ever be constructed for students! This was first of its kind. Laundry facility, ala care meal, regional messes, apartments etc. Facilities were given to students for the first time in India. The campus has an Olympic size swimming pool where swimming competitions were held. Its not only big in size and has quantity on its size. The ranking of LPU is very impressive too. Every year it improves and jumps several steps up. One of the achievements in the recent past of Lovely Professional University is that it was ranked among the top 200 universities of the world in The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. Since its inception, its the first time Lovely Professional University was ever engaged in the rankings and was ranked second-the highest among Indian varsities. No, there is only one campus of LPU and that is in Phagwara. LPU offers range of courses in B.Tech, B.Arch B.Sc. B.A. LL.B. Des. There are approximately 360 courses that are offered at LPU. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021 Also, LPU ranks amongst the top 100 institutions in India as per NIRF rankings. It also ranked 49 in the management ranking, 29 in the pharmacy ranking and 87 in the engineering ranking. There are multiple facilities within the campus like university Mall, university Hospital, Food courts or kiosks, Bank ATMs, residential facilities, food facilities, and Transport facilities. It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines. LPU campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel. I was surprised to SEE the diverse dining and shopping options available within the university campus. There is a state-of-the-art 8-storey mall which has shops of all possible needs, departmental stores, and gadget stores too. Diverse options of dining are also available within the campus, which range from traditional Indian sweets to modern coffee shops. Most importantly, it has various banks with more than 50 ATMs inside the campus; hence, students need not go outside for any kind of transactions. The campus of LPU is so vast that it has its own postal code and office. I would recommend you to visit this university once if you are planning to get admission for yourself or your anyone else.
