Is there any provision for lateral entry in MBBS in the premier colleges across India?

    There is no any provision for Lateral Entry in MBBS course in India.

    Hi Mini,
    The lateral entry in MBBS is not possible in India because the Medical Council of India does not give permission to the medical universities to do so.
    Though, most of the universities abroad allow lateral entry in MBBS for BPT, BSc nursing graduates because the first 2 years of MBBS degree syllabus and subjects are already passed by the B.Sc. (Nursing) and BPT graduates.
