As far as I know, the TISS entrance papers are usually divided into two sections. One, being the logical and analytical thinking which usually contains questions related to reasoning and mathematics and has a weightage of 60 marks and the second being (descriptive writing) has a weightage

No, students who attend TISSNET have to clear then overall cutoff of that particular course.
