Am BTech student with percentage of 66.8......I have applied at Dr Ambedkar law University of Tamil Nadu... yesterday they have released cutoff marks for students Am belongs to BC(others) catagory they have announced for BC students cut should be 70 and waiting list was 68...

Quota is on the basis of caste or domicile. It is also a general practice to give quota to alumni, but in the master's progamme in the same field. For exact information, you have to go through the prospectus of the course provided by the university.
