Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology recognises the need to support the underprivileged by providing a relaxation in the eligibility criteria. For general students, the minimum eligibility criteria is set at 60% for bachelor’s degrees.
While for students belonging to the SC/ST/EWS, the university offers a 5% relaxation in the minimum mark criteria. Thus, students belonging to the aforementioned categories are eligible to apply if they have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in a bachelor's degree.
