Is there any reservation quota for the ex-servicemen in the engineering or medical entrance exam?

In majority of universities, there is a quota for wards of ex-servicemen in medical and engineering colleges. The universities have their own rules on quotas based on state government rules and regulations. Majority of universities give preference to wards of gallantry award winners and ex-serviceme

Yes, in almost all the medical and engineering entrance examinations, you will get 5% quota for the wards of ex-servicemen.
