Is there any restriction for girls for taking part in NDA exam? Is there any other compulsion for a girl who wanted to be an IAF officer?

I am in 12th class and I want to be a high post-IAF officer. What should I do after 12th for this? And what are the things on which I should focus? Explain briefly, please.

Unfortunately, girls are not eligible to join NDA, in-spite of we woman getting in every stream and proving our-self, this discrimination is bad, but unfortunately we have to abide it. No restrictions for girls but our government want the girl NDA candidate. I am not sure about the compulsion for girls but maybe some extra benefits have been provided by the government for girls as compared to boys.

The Commission will release the NDA 2 notification 2026 on the official portal at upsc.gov.in. It will be issued on May 20, 2026. The last date to apply for NDA 2 will be June 9, 2026.
