Is there any scholarship facility in NERIST?

<p>Yes, In NERIST the SC/ST students of North Eastern states are generally provided with stipends by the concerned state and Central&nbsp;governments at varying rates. The North Eastern Council (NEC) also provides scholarship to the students of the region for&nbsp;their study at Degree and higher levels. The students can also apply for various scholarships schemes available to them as&nbsp;per eligibility through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The continuance of stipend/scholarship is subject to the following&nbsp;conditions:</p><ul><li>His/her maintenance of discipline in the Institute is consistently good and he/she is regular in the classes. Unauthorized<br>absence from the Institute/Hostel is treated as a lapse of discipline.</li><li>Satisfactory progress in his/her studies</li></ul>
