Is there any scholarship for B.Tech students?

Lovely Professional university provide scholarship Programmes based on two main criteria 1. Performance (Marks) 2. Financial aid The eligibility criteria for scholarship in Lovely Professional University are the performance in LPU NEST Sports, Research and Culture, the person with a disability, board toppers, orphan candidates, based on bravery award & social services, and defense personnel. Special Scholarships and/or Fee ConcessionsFor Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable)Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependantsToppers of Education BoardScholarship for Orphan ApplicantsScholarship for Person with Certain Disability Scholarship Brackets: For each category mentioned above, three brackets of Scholarship (Bracket 1, 2 and 3) are defined. Each bracket represents specific criteria (for example scores in qualifying exam) which an applicant has to reach for him/her to fall in that particular bracket. The criteria in each bracket decreases as it proceeds and so does the scholarships. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket- 1 gets the highest Scholarship and those in Bracket - 2 or 3 gets relatively lesser scholarship.

Many students get scholarship in LPU according to their +2 Percentages and their Score in LPU NEST exam. It also provides scholarships to the toppers of the corresponding years in University Scholarship 1 Every year, roughly 50-60 per cent of the students receive scholarships from LPU thereby bringing down their course fees by 70-75%. Scholarship 2 University offers scholarship on the basis of performance in LPU NEST is available for all programmes of the university except Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. LPU has a wide range of scholarships to benefit the students. The scholarships are a boon to the needy and a big encouragement to the meritorious. There is no specail scholarship for the B Tech students, I am giving you the details of all the scholarships, you can choose that suits you at the time of admission. The best thing about LPU scholarships is what you get at the time of admission continues till the completion of the course. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extra curricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST there are no restrictions. Once you get a scholarship, you will get the same amount of scholarship throughout the programme. There are other scholarships too the university offers. Applicant having Benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver subject his/her case being approved by Special Committee constituted by LPU. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where on the basis of test conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee.

There is scholarship for EWS, Minority and SC/ST students. For availing the benefits, the student usually fills the form provided by the government authorities in colleges only. Merit cum means scholarship for Professional. Technical Courses (Minorities) are usually for the students whose family income is not more than 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Hi, Private College (some) provides so-called scholarships based on your class 12th marks. Government College generally don't offer fee waiver because their fees is generally low itself.
