The scholarships available for candidates from General category is less in comparison with the candidates belonging to any reserved candidates, but there are some:

    National-level Scholarships:

    • Tata Trust Scholarship for B.Ed and D.Ed Students: Provides fee waivers for some deserving candidates in some states.
    • CARE Rating Scholarship Scheme: INR 25,000 per year given to the deserving students in India.
    • UGC Emeritus Fellowship: For the faculty who have been retired from a particular college and wish to go for research field. Given a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 and also contingency allowance of INR 20,000 per year.
    • Vidyasaarathi MPCL Scholar
