Is there any scope in cyber security? Can an electronics and telecommunication engineer pursue M.Tech in cyber security?

Hi, The increased speed and efficiency of electronic information sharing through computer networks and the Internet is accompanied by the inherent risk of cyber threats to the security of that information. Interest in cyber security maintaining the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of information exchanged across electronic networks, has risen across the world. Cyber security has been gaining greater attention in India and has been identified as a key thrust area by the national government. Various initiatives have been taken both by governmental associations and agencies as well as the private sector in order to protect and secure the IT infrastructure assets across the country. India is making a concerted effort to build world-class capability and capacity in the area of cyber security. A great deal of the focus is being placed on creating top-class advanced scientific and research institutions in the country as well as in developing trained manpower in this field. India is a large global player in the IT industry and plans to not only secure its IT assets, but also to emerge as a global player in the field of cyber security products and services. Yes, you can do it after ECE engineering but you have to clear low level exams too before going for Masters in Cyber Security
