My name is Karan and I am doing VFX plus course from The MAAC, Jalandhar. In this industry, people are less, but demand is very huge, so they want more and more people that is why we get jobs easily and every industry even army need us to make their plans and simulations, etc. So, we have much bigger scope than any other field.

After the super success of Bahubali, I think you have got your answer. As per FICCI-KPMG Report By 2020, the worth of the Indian VFX industry is expected to be Rs. 9000 crores. Hollywood, Bollywood, TV shows, ads - each of these use visual effects to produce high-quality output. From car blasts in a live-action film to leaves blowing in an animated movie, all the effects are designed and created by special effects artists. You can be one of these highly-paid, in-demand, talented artists.
If you learn Animation & VFX, following are the job roles available to you-
    VFX Artist
    Compositor
    Pre-Viz Artist
    Roto & Paint Artist
    Matchmove Artist
    Trackin

All of us are aware about the huge commercial success of VFX incorporated films like Avatar. We would also have read news about the success of Bahubali part 1. Basically India is a media and entertainment savvy nation and is also produces the highest number of feature films in the world with over 1000 films every year. Every film has minimum 50-100 VFX shots to maximum 4000-5000 shots. VFX is a laborious and highly skilled work.
For a film like Bahubali, it took two years to complete the VFX with over 600 artists working on it. So, you can imagine the number of people required and the volume of work which needs to be done from time to

Animation industry in India is expected to grow at a pace faster than even the IT industry's!
Animation as a career option is a field where you can use your creative juices. Fulfill your dream of "enjoy-as-you-work", feel satisfied at the end of your day and get accolades from your clients. There are more than 600 animation studios in India as of 2019, which are estimated to have employed more than 45,000 animation professionals. As per the FICCI KPMG reports, the industry is growing at CAGR of 22 per cent, followed by post-production at 15 per cent, animation production at 9 per cent and animation services at 1 per cent. Dear Akshay,
If you take up VFX, it would be better if you do it after learning animation, otherwise, you'd be stuck in a Rotoscopy job for a lifetime. Also, it would be helpful, if you're good with dynamics or matte painting since those would offer you areas for growth.
