    LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so.     The Agricultural Industry is an important sector in India that plays a major role in the Economy of India. In recent times, the need for professionals in Agriculture courses has increased in various departments of Government organizations.     Scope of B.Sc. Agriculture:
    Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc. Average starting salary is generally between 2-4.5 Lacs Rupees per year.
