Chemical engineering is one of the less celebrated branch but its relevance is almost all aspects of daily life. From the plastic we use to the drugs and garments. With the technology fast improving the work conditions for a chemical engineer, it has lot of scope. Major companies like ONGC, Reliance Industries Ltd., Essar Oil Limited, Gujarat Gas Company Limited, Indo Gulf Fertilizers Ltd, Coromandel Fertilizers Limited recruit and provide research opportunities. All IITs, nits and many private colleges offer it.
