Yes, if you are studying BMS from a good university in Mumbai then it definitely holds value and while doing your BMS also do online courses so that you can increase your skill set.

Try on website called coursera. There is a wide range of courses available in this website. Choose courses from there. Whatever interests you. You can also search for other websites and let me know as well if I can tell how it is. All the best!
