Is there any seperate cut off for students of ISC CBSE or Other STATE BOARDS for B.Tech courses?

These days for getting admission in any engineering College a student has to appear for one or more entrance examinations. It's perhaps only in Tamil Nadu that admissions to engineering colleges is based on the marks obtained in the board examination of 12th. As a result of this the marks obtained in 12 have lost their importance except for the fact that a student has to score certain minimum percentage for becoming eligible for admission in an engineering college and hence you can either call it cut off or you can ignore it also. Like if you want to get admission in IIT then you need to score 75% in your examination...more
