Yes, there is a tuition fee waiver available for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture students at IIT Kharagpur.
The tuition fee waiver is applicable for students with a family income of less than Rs. 5 Lacs per annum for UR/EWS/OB-NCL categories, and for SC/ST/PwD students, the tuition fee is waived.
For students with a family income between Rs. 1 Lacs and Rs. 5 Lacs per annum, the tuition fee is Rs. 33,335.
Students with a family income above Rs. 5 Lacs per annum have to pay the full tuition fee of Rs. 1,00,000.
