Yes, there are tuition fee waivers available for B.Tech. in Computational and Data Science students at NIT Surathkal.
- Students belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are exempted from payment of Tuition fee.
- Students belonging to Open, EWS & OBC-NCL category whose family income is less than Rs.1.00 Lacs per annum shall get full remission of Tuition fees.
- Students belonging to Open, Open-EWS & OBC-NCL category whose family income is between Rs.1.00 Lacs to Rs.5.00 Lacs per annum shall get remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition fees.
The claim form and income certificate for the same has to be submitted at the Institute after the student gets admitted
