No, there is no maximum or upper age limit to appear for the CTET exam. Candidates should be above 17 years of age with no upper age limit are eligible to apply for CTET exam. Diploma/Degree is required but it is not necessary for everyone who appear for CTET exam. It depends on whether you want to teach at Primary level (Class 1 to Class 5) or Elementary level (Clas 6 to Class 8).
