Is there any use of learning graphic designing and 2d 3D animation with BCA

Hi Riya,
Yes definitely, you can go the animation field, but before deciding, i would suggest that visit the institute nearby to your place and take a proper counselling so that you can take decision about joining it or not.
To be precise about animation graphic designing software train you more for designing the printable materials like boards, hording, pamphlets, broucher etc, then is web designing which is related to B.C.A. a you learn computer languages in the same but you even learn the software to create web pages. and then come 3d which is related to movie making, architecture designing and vfx.

Hi Riya, yes, there is lots of opportunities ahead in learning Graphic designing,2D & 3D animation, but again it all depends on ur interest in doing it. Since ur doing BCA, and any additional courses to ur career is always beneficial for ur job opportunities.

Before pursuing any course in creative course. you should first analyze you level of creativity that will help you to choose from various option Creative fields consists various options : 2D,3D,Web designing, VFX, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, photography, filmmaking and many more. Creativity is the main essence of abovementioned fields.

As correctly said by Animaster and Mehar, I would add in here, opt for the designing only if you are interested in a creative stream and want to keep it as an alternative. As neelu ji correctly mentioned that BCA and Graphics designing are different career profiles but pursuing additional course along with your BCA.

It is independent of the BCA (except for flash programming) and is a separate career opportunity. And before starting do first check if you're suited for Web and Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people.
