Yes, Maths is important for CAT. One of the paper in CAT is quantitative abilities which is technically Maths. However the syllabus almost covers upto class 12th only. Hence there are a lot of commerce graduates in IIM. I am sure when they can make it, you can too.

if you want to crack the cat you need study basic maths right now which can help in the future preparation. you can choose any stream as you wish in plus two schools. after completing plus you need to get indulged w cat books of arun sharma which is the best book for cat and which can help you a lot
