Slot booking for examination is very important. Without the slot booking, you won't be allowed to attempt the exams.

If you're talking about VITEEE slot booking. There are many students who write VITEEE and all students can't be accommodated on a single day to write entrance exams as there aren't many centers, that's the reason they made it slot wise to ensure that everyone write entrance exams and even slot booking is like getting verification from students whether they are really willing to write the VITEEE exam.

Yes, the Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITREE application form 2026. Registration window was open on August 27 and last date to submit the application form is November 24 (extended). Candidates who are willing to take admission in PhD programmes in VIT can apply for VITREE exam.
