It depends on the assemblance and attendance of student in university according to the preference of hostel.

No, you can't minimise the hostel fee. Scholarships are only available for the college fee.

You cannot minimize your hostel fee because LPU is not providing any scholarships for hostel fee. The only way is you have to change the number of seater. I mean, there are hostel rooms of 1 seater , 2 seater, 3 seater, 4 seater, 5 seater, etc. Higher the seater number, lesser is the hostel fee.

Yes, you can minimize the hostel fee if you have any state or national achievement in any extra-curricular activities. Or you can opt for dormitory residential facilities inside the campus. If you don't want that, you can reside outside the campus like in Phagwara, Jalandhar Cantt or nearby villages

As far as private colleges are concerned, they have fixed accommodation costs. But you can go to the hostel section and can request them to give you some concession in your hostel fees. You can show them your family's income certificate. All the best.
