    Hello,
Actually, the answer is 'No'. You need to appear for IELTS or TOEFL exam if you want to study in any English speaking country like Canada, USA, UK and other European countries. These countries asks for IELTS scores. No matter whether you are applying to study or to work there, you need to give the exam as it is compulsory.

If you have completed your graduation in English medium, you can apply to Lakehead University with a medium of instruction letter from your college. Though, it is recommended to take IELTS.

    Hi
Hv you selected any particular university for your course? There are few universities which have the criteria of CBSE four year English (Grade 9 to 12) at under grad level.
But TOEFL/IELTS/PTE are still recommended to hv a better chance of getting an offer.

You cannot get admission in any Canadian university or college without taking the IELTS test. Your IELTS score plays a very important role in the admission process.

Universities and colleges in Canada need IELTS or TOEFL or in some cases, PTE. Without the English test, it is not advisable to apply for Canada even if a college is offering this option to you.

    Hi,
IELTS is one of the requirements to qualify for applying to universities. Since we belong to a non-English speaking country we need to prove our proficiency that we can communicate well in English. It is highly recommended to take either IELTS / TOEFL to apply to universities in Canada.
I hope this will clear your doubt.

IELTS. is to prove your English proficiency. For admission and also for Visa purpose you need IELTS. You can not proceed without IELTS marks of minimum 6 band. If you can't do IELTS that means you are afraid of your English and if you go to Canada without this it will be very difficult to survive.
Alternatively you can do PTE or TOEFL in such case you can go without IELTS
