Is there any weightage of 12th board marks at the time of placement?

1)if graduation is the eligibility criteria, % only asks for graduation for placement 2) for some govt. jobs, if 12th is the eligibility criteria, asks 70% like in navy,army,air force for Science streams

Not Much but some top firms have a stringent criteria for percentage in 12th and they require almost 75% as the minimum percentage
