    Yes. There are lot of things which you have to keep in mind.
    First I must tell you that St. Xavier's College Calcutta is one of the best Mass Communication college in India. Most importantly you have to know the eligibility criteria of application. Last year it was 60% in 10+2 level. As there is an admission test you have to prepare for that (only if you want to prepare seriously). One doesn't need to prepare if he/she reads newspaper daily or goes through the news on a daily basis and watch films (Indian, foreign).     To be honest, there are many things you've to keep in mind. If you're applying for St. Xavier's College, then you need to know the Eligibility criteria. Then comes the second one - The admission test. For the admission test, you need to prepare it , thoroughly (if you are serious about it). They follows the question pattern, which consists of MCQs, Identify, Essays. It's of 100 marks. Now here, comes the twist. The first part consists of objectives. Those are very tricky.
