    It solely depends on the number of students passing or failing in that. The number of students leaving the college which may lead to the vacancy of seats. You can inquire about the seats from the college office for further details. Hope this helps!

    Hello Janhavi,
    Switching branch is of course possible within same college in second year. But invariably, there are no seats earmarked. It's a dynamic situation depending on different condition viz. passing or failure of students of your intended branch, backlog in that branch, etc. It's decided only in the new academic session by the college.
