Yes, The university conducts own enterance exam for most of the courses, Like DY patil take admission of MBA on the scores based on enterence exam CAT, XMAT, CET, etc. However Candidates must pass the NEET UG and JEE Main exams in order to be considered for programmes like MBBS, BAMS, and BTech.
