Is there Kashmiri migrant quota in IITs?

<p>Yes, IITs have a certain quota for Kashmiri migrants. There are relaxations that the Ministry of Education itself gives in their admission process sometimes up to 10%. The intake capacity of their courses can also be enhanced by 5%. One seat in the merit quota has to be kept reserved there for Kashmiri migrants for technical and professional institutions too, including IITs. Importantly, domicile requirement has been waived for Kashmiri migrants, which in turn gives them an easier way towards application and getting admission within these prestigious institutions.</p>
