Is there much difference between the infrastructure of NITS and the IITs..in terms of faculty and placement...PLEASE REPLY!

Yes there is a vast difference between legacy IITs ( Delhi, Mumbai, Kanpur, KGP, Gauhati , Roorkee etc ) and NITs in term of facilities, faculties and placement. Legacy IITs rank higher in comparison to IITs in All India rankings. However, newly announced and opened IITs may not able to compet

I do not agree. Legacy IITs input ( students) is far superior to NIT which help to build it's brand. Few NITs are good.
