Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in the UPCATET exam. For each correct answer applicants will be given 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/4th of the total marks or 1 mark will be deducted.
The calculation of the score for the respective programmes will be taken into consideration by taking into account all correct & incorrect answers. After preparing the list of all candidates the authorities will prepare the list of successful applicants based on the availability of seats.
