BCA, nowadays, is a good option. You can get into IT company and MCA after BCA is even better. I know someone who has done MCA and studying Ph.D for greater knowledge. He was doing job in a company for 11.5 LPA.
    Good luck.

Scope is there for BCA and MCA qualified. But as we all know that degree in paper is not valuable. When you start for working company will check your knowledge and thinking. So, I suggest you before entering any course you need to think twice some matter, like what you want to be after completing the course, need to setup your goal, need to think about competition in your field etc.
    Best of luck.

No, you got the wrong information, because the scope for BCA+MCA is increasing now, because now the market in India is inching more and more towards service industry. So, software developers will be in high demand, so BCA is automatically a good option for learning software development and other software related programs. So, the scope will also increase for BCA. And BCA and MCA is the best choice of software study.
