Is there really anything lovely about Lovely Professional University?

Hello Being an educational consultant and after my research on LPU, I will share with you what I observed about the LPU There are many facilities provided in the college with starting from academics to co-curricular activities to faculty down to the placement Placements and Placement Mentoring Top recruiters such as Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, etc. Have visited the campus in recent years. Students have grabbed packages as high as 28 Lacs. Also, a great thing that I like about the university is that it provides placement mentoring to its students to prepare them well for the placement drives in the future. Internships and industry immersion A commendable thing about the university is offering industry immersion to its students. It has collaborated with major companies for the same. In addition to this, students have gained on-site experience by interning in companies like Microsoft, Infosys, ISRO, Cognizant, and many more. Centre for Professional Enhancement The centre helps the students to gain the relevant skill Sets required in the industry right now. Students gain inputs in terms of aptitude, verbal ability, logical reasoning, etc. Campus facilities The campus facilities are truly top-notch. I don't think students faced any trouble while they are on campus. The security measures are also tight on the campus for the safety of the students and staff. There is a hospital inside the campus premises with more than 20 doctors and nursing staff. The residential facilities are also good. Personally, I think the facilities offered on campus are just great. Academics Last but not the least, LPU is a good university academic-wise. Students get to work on live projects here and add to their existing experience and skill. The guest lectures and workshops that take place here really help students expand their existing knowledge. I am an alumnus of LPU and completed my higher studies from there. There are many lovely things about LPU as the name of the university says itself Lovely. I will share few points about LPU 1) YOUTHVIBE Youth Vibe is a cool, super big, annual youth fest where over 10 communities are given the opportunity to compete in artistic, dramatic, musical, and theatrical performances. 2) UNIVERSITY DATABASE This is a pretty cool fact I found. Apparently, LPU's current database size well over 50 Giga Bytes. 3) CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY LPU is the only college in all of Punjab that runs on an electricity hotline, averaging 126 Kilowatts of electricity per day. Power cuts at Lovely do not last more than five seconds, which means that they have incredible generator backup systems. 4) ONE WORLD One World is an event where students get together and represent different countries of the world. The diversity and scale of the event is what attracts attention. 5) ONE INDIA Similar to One World, One India is an event where students get together to represent the colourful culture of India's various States. 6) FOOD MANAGEMENT So, a lot of food is prepared at LPU everyday. A LOT. The hostel houses over around 18,000 students. In order to feed them, some 72,000 meals are cooked everyday. Chapatis are, of course, a part of these meals. Can you guess how many chapatis are made everyday at LPU? The answer is 2,88,000. 7) WATER MANAGEMENT LPUs School of Bioengineering and Biosciences and the Department of Bio-resources Engineering, McGill University, Canada, brought together 200 scientists, researchers and professors, from across the world. They MET at the LPU campus to recommend effective solutions to utilising polluted water, making it potable through clean methods. People came from numerous different countries. Some of these included Canada, USA, Germany, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Argentina. 8) SOLAR CAR RACING LPU designed and built cars powered by solar energy, placed on top of the car. Then you race! 9) RACE GO KARTS Automobile engineers at the college apparently have a flare for Go Karts. Hence, the University now hosts a challenges but exhilarating Go Kart racing event. 10) LPU HAS OVER 4000 CCTV CAMERAS LPU is manned by over 400 full time security officials and thousands of security cameras. Here is a list of factors on which we reviewed LPU to decide whether we should go for it or not. The current students of LPU told us that the faculty is very friendly and considerate. Apart from helping the student academically, the highly-experienced faculty works towards the all-round development of the student at LPU. We got to know that the students at LPU get a chance to work in Fortune 500 Companies. They get a chance to work with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many other international companies. LPU has also recorded the highest number of placements in the past years with more and more students getting the chance to work in the top companies of the world. Infrastructure: Another great thing we got to know about LPU was its infrastructure which is actually as good as it is advertised. It offers students the kind of campus life with facilities you won't find in many colleges. From departmental stores to coffee shops, LPU offers an entirely different campus life experience. It has a full fledged mall inside the campus. Another good thing about this university, LPU has food stalls that provide different cuisines, and the south Indian delicacies are really good. For its international students, it offers cuisines, such as African, Bhutanese, etc. Multicultural events: Diversity is something I always appreciate. LPU, to make its national and international students feel at home, organizes events where students give performances related to their culture or organize food stalls of the cuisines of their respective states and countries. LPU recently organized events called One India and One World so as to sensitize the students of LPU about different cultures. LPU takes care of its international students: This one is something I learnt from my sister. LPU helps international students with their visa application and on-boarding process and other pre and post arrival.

The International exposure students get with foreign internship opportunities with articulation programs opportunities where one can complete his/her degree in the foreign country under 2+1 programme, where the student will study one year in LPU and final year abroad and get the degree of the foreign university, gives these students such an opportunity which makes them adaptable to the changing scenarios in the corporate world.

Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 200 programmes. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The University has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e. UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 7) Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. 9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you'll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. My experience - You'll have all round development if you take part in all the different events and use every single resource provided by the University.

Without a doubt. It is one of our countries' greatest private institutions, with 200+ courses scattered across 600 acres of land. LPU is a brand, and to be honest, they're trying to keep it that way. In terms of skills, information, exposure, exciting campus life, internships, workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by renowned persons, I've acquired a lot. Basically, LPU has helped me grow as a person, yet on the other hand, I've witnessed individuals squander their time due to idiocy. Basically, how much a person can take away and learn from the institution varies from person to person. In whatever condition, LPU will never fall behind. They give it their all.

Being alumni I must say, its LPU who helps us to learn not only how to acquire a great career rather also how to be a good human being. I got to understand during my tenure here that, Lovely Professional University is very much renowned for its student friendly nature. LPU is always taken care of its students like a family. LPU's motto for the all round development of students both academically as well as in personal life. International Exposure: Not only in India, LPU is renowned internationally. LPU is having dedicated Division of International affairs. LPU is having tie up with Multiple foreign Universities all over the world. Students Club: There are nearly 60 student organizations or clubs have been created by LPU. With this initiative students will never feel alone in the campus. Hostel: I have also spent 5 Years in LPU Hostel. There I always feel its happening all the time ! 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Faculty members: LPU Professors are always beside the students for their well-being & enhancing their educational standard. Professors of LPU are very friendly & helpful kind of nature with an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning. Infrastructure: LPU is 600+ Acre campus with all advanced facilities & infrastructures (Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts with International cuisines, Hostel Facility etc. ) Placement: In terms of placement in 2020, it was really tough for all to proceed further. But still LPU managed to achieve excellent placement record as always by securing more than 7000 job offers, internships, training for its students. Go for LPU it will remain a GOOD decision of Lifetime !

LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1. LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2. LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3. Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education. Of course, there are numerous students who are deserving and yes LPU would be the best platform for them which give them the way to attain their degree in much affordable way. 4. Unblemished placements records with more than 200 corporates which entails Asian Paints, Federal Banks, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moody's Analytics and so on are keep on recruiting maximum students on yearly basis. I must say that everything is good about LPU. Under one roof you will get multiple opportunities to grow and learn. The university campus spreads over 600 acres (2.4 km2) in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar. The green environment is super conducive to learning. LPU hosts one of the largest set of laboratories. There is a Museum containing demonstration of Projects. There is Polyhouse Technology A climate controlled cultivation (Hi-tech farming) of horticultural crops for high yield and quality production. Multimedia Studio for Science, Research and InnovationLPU has three auditoriums - Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis (seating capacity 20000+), Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium (seating capacity 2500) and university Auditorium (seating capacity 350). These auditoriums are widely used to host the events of international and national repute. The University has 2 amphitheatres which are used to organize cultural events, competitions, plays and the like. These amphitheatres are also used by regional and national film makers as location for their movies and songs. There is Aviation Lab, cultural labs, university hospital, in house laundry.
