Jobs can be got by students of B.Sc agriculture with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, one can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). But to get employed into this position, it will be needed for applicants to write an admission test. Job opportunities are also available for applicants as teachers. They can write the ARS-NET exam and get employed with colleges as lecturers. Jobs are also available for aspirants as Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) or as Block Development Officers. A few other areas where employment is offered to students of B.Sc horticulture encompass banks, Dairy consultancies, insurance companies and the animal industry.

there is a vast scope of B.Sc agriculture. .u bttr srt preparing for d entrace...students may run for aipmt or d most common JEE..n 70% don't get selected cuz of f limited seats.. d demand for this degree graduates is on fire.. it is v good for job prospective! all d best!

Being an agrarian country, Agriculture has huge scope and will never run out of job opportunities in either government sector or private sector both plus entrepreneurship opportunities too. Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present for fresh graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruit agriculture graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruit them to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Hello, The career scope is really good in B.Sc agriculture. You can work as agricultural development officer. You can also prepare for banking specialist officer. You can work in private sector industry of farming, fertilizer, pesticide, agro-chemicals, farm forestry, etc. You can pursue Masters and Ph.D, and then go for teaching/ research in the agricultural universities/ agricultural research services of the Central Government.
