In the IBPS Clerk exam, sectional cutoffs do exist. It is necessary for candidates to get the overall and sectional cutoff marks. Applicants who meet the sectional cutoff but not the overall cutoff will not be chosen to proceed with the recruitment process. The minimum qualifying score required for candidates to pass the test is known as the IBPS Clerk cut off. Candidates are chosen for the Mains test based on the IBPS Clerk preliminary cutoff. In case candidates secure the sectional cut off but not the overall cut off, are not selected for the recruitment process. IBPS Clerk cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam. Based on the IBPS Clerk prelims cut off, candidates are selected for the Mains exam.
