  • Hello Kamal, if you have over 90% then you can get admission at LPU without writing the entrance exam LPU-NEST and you can also get a scholarship based on the course.

LPU-NEST is the entrance and scholarship test, which is considered as a mandatory entrance test to take admission in LPU. Though, you can take admission with 90% in your boards, for more availing more scholarship benefits you can give the LPU-NEST exam.

LPUNEST is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. The candidate needs to qualify LPU NEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech. , MBA, Hons, B.Pharma MLT etc. For some courses like B.A. B. Comm, BBA etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website. Good luck.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A
