NIA was estabilshed in1980 under the aegis of Ministry of Finance(Govt. of India), LIC, GIC of India, and public sector Insurance Companies as promoters. You can work with insurance companies in operations,claims handling, actuarial profiles, underwriting corporate sales etc;, IT companies insurance vertical , BA etc;, Broker companies, etc. -
This is a semi government kind of you can say. The job profile varies from company to company. Insurance company gives underwriting, claims, marketing, etc. IT gives business analyst. Brokers give Marketing.
