Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which LPU NEST is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPU NEST works for scholarship purpose only. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity apply without any delay. LPU is ICAR accreditation while CU is not, this can lead to quite a tricky situation for you in your future. Being an agrarian country, it has huge scope and will never run out of job opportunities in either government sector or private sector both plus entrepreneurship opportunities too. Curriculum in LPU is as per the guidelines of ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research) and is designed to train students to understand ways of improving the crop production in a sustainable manner and to provide overall knowledge related to agriculture. # Agricultural graduates have wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. It is just a myth that Agriculture does not offer job opportunities. # The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. B.Sc.
