Is this college AICTE approved? How is in terms of placement for finance?

NSB offers MBA from Mysore University. This is state government university and is classified as university with potential for excellence by UGC. Placement for Finance is good. Most of the placements are in Banking and Consulting areas. Many students are also placed in insurance, risk management and analyst positions. Most of them who took good jobs are in Ernst and Young, Deutsche Bank, India Bulls, and Thomson Reuters.

Dear Sai, NSB offers PGPM +MBA program. PGPM is autonomous and is industry endorsed. MBA is from the University of Mysore, which is a state government university of Karnataka and is fully approved by University Grants Commission, Ministry of HRD. NSB admits only 150 students in a year and there will be about 50 students in Finance. The small number of students are supported by NSB's huge reputation in the industry. Therefore, placements for all specialisations are quite impressive. Moreover, NSB offer finance students a social topic/certification program - Certificate in Financial Analysis. Many of my seniors told us that this additional certificate has helped them find better jobs. Some finance companies that took NSB students include - Axis Bank, Citibank, Indiabulls, ICICI Bank, ICICI prulife, Capgemni, SsgA, Thomson Reuteurs, Ocwen financials.these are the ones that i remember. I suggest you to visit NSB website to check out on other companies. Good luck in your hunt of good B-school; certainly NSB is !
