Is this college worth pursuing PGDM?

Here is what I can explain you about FIIB Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) offers 2 years full time PGMD approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Equivalence of PGDM to MBA by Association of Indian University (AIU). Specializations are offered in following areas: -Marketing -Finance Human Resource Management -Operations Management -Information Systems Management -International Business -Strategy and Entrepreneurship. FIIB also offers BST (business study tour) where the college takes its students for study abroad programs every year to provide them an experience to explore, to develop in terms of global exposure and lateral thinking. FIIB's Placement cell provides lot of internship programs in various companies. There are several Guest lectures and seminars for the students form India and Abroad as well. FIIB also has a unique and very strong relationship with its alumni which helps students to make corporate relations in the corporate world.Apart from academics, FIIB organizes various cultural events where inter college competitions are held. This helps students to interact with each other. By this practice the students gets an opportunity to learn and practice management in a simulation environment that cannot be replicated in a classroom. Placement guarantee Placements can also be very superfluous. For example, one of the MBA institutes I visited claimed 100% placements, but upon further research I found out, that most of their students left the jobs within 6 months of joining! Hence, I was relieved to learn about the FIIB career management cell that helps students more than just providing a job. FIIB gives opportunities of interacting with the alumni, regular guest lectures and skill building workshops, than just placements and pre-placement talks. Most of the ex-students have continued with the same organization since their graduation from FIIB and succeeding well in their roles. A full time faculty When I visited FIIB I was not only impressed by the number of full time faculty members, but also a mentoring program and many opportunities for faculty and students to interact in and outside the classrooms. A well-stocked library I found the library quite well stocked, however, I thought it would be better to ask a few second year students about their experience at the library and they said “for us, library has proved to be a great center for knowledge”. Yes this college is worth if you do not want to pay Rs 14- 15 lakhs which other private colleges are charging, the college is worth in following:-Good ROIGood PlacementNice Education EnvironmentSupporting Faculty Good Location Hope you are clear. If not, then feel free to ask anytime. Good Luck!
