Admissions to the Computer Science Engineering course of University of California San Diego is selective. The department received over 6,000 applications. For the Fall term, 877 students registered. The university seeks applicants with a strong academic background in Computer Science and Engineering and / or related field and a demonstrated potential for success in Graduate schools.
