UEM kolkata means you are talking about UEM, New Town campus right.? But its just one year old so don't have any info about it and they have another oldest campus in College more, Sec-V that is IEM. Its one of the best private Engineering college in kolkata after Jadavpur University.
In Kolkata there also have good private Engineering college that is Techno India sec- v campus and The Heritage but IEM is one of the best Engineering college for job placement. This year they provided 80% job placement for 2016 batch and the recruit company was TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc etc. and most of the students got placement in TCS.
