be clear first Universities provides degrees, and Universities is approved by UGC. It means UGC approved universities degree are valid. Now AICTE approves only some Technical courses not all courses viz Engg UG/PG, MBA, MCA, hotel management. AICTE approved technical degrees are valid.

yes. if u want to go for jobs in India then it is mandatory to hold a recognized degree (according to the requirement of job)
